MD Initial Security Guard Training

Service Description

This is the training required to obtain your Maryland Guard Card & operate as a security professional/officer in the state of Maryland. This is required for new & existing officers. Training is all in person, split between two 6 hour days. Packages consisting of security guard training & firearms licensing available. Text (443) 885-0695 for details. "Effective January 1, 2025, all original security guard applicants will be required to complete 12 hours of initial security guard training sponsored by a Maryland Police Training Commission approved provider. The applicant will be required to submit the certificate of completion with their security guard application. Current Security Guards who hold a valid Security Guard Certification and have not successfully completed 12 hours of initial security guard training sponsored by a Maryland Police Training Commission approved provider will be required to successfully complete this training in order to be eligible to renew their Security Guard Certification."
