Are fingerprints included in our packages?The answer is no & that is to keep our classes cost-friendly to you, the student. We would have to charge significantly more to provide prints as well. They are available in class for you through a vendor we have partnered with & that payment goes directly to them. Each state has their own fingerprints requirements & needs. This will be covered in class. Yes, if you have been fingerprinted recently, you must be printed again.

How long will it take to obtain my permit after class?It depends on the state. Let's go over our most common permits! Maryland has up to 90 days to make a decision following your submission of your application. We see 45-60 days usually but the correct timeframe is up to 90 days. DC is appointment based, with appointments usually being 45-60 days out from your class completion. Once your application is submitted via your appointment, it can be as quick as a week or several. New York is a 6 month process roughly, following your submission of your application post class.

As current or former military, do we have to take the class?For Maryland, no, you can simply submit your DD214 or active paperwork & submit to the state. Do we recommend taking the class still? Yes. Being military doesn't equal knowing the laws of the state & that cannot be used as an excuse if you break said laws. Take the class to gain the needed knowledge still! For the other states that we offer, yes, you still have to take the class to submit for your permits.
